Wiebe is part of BioCatch's Global Advisory Team, which advises on the use of endpoint user behavior to find new attack methods and use cases in banking and finance. He has worked in and for major banks since 1999, spending the last 12 years working in fraud prevention and AML. Through his experience, Wiebe realized that transaction-based AI models require Behavioral Insights (behavioral analysis) of bank customers, so he joined BioCatch in 2022 to further develop their capabilities. |

Bob is a long-standing practitioner in the world of banking payments. Expertise gained at leading financial institutions including Citi, Barclays, Fortis and Deutsche. Technology companies including Cable & Wireless, SwallowTech and payment schemes including BACS and Faster Payments. This experience gained across multiple payment programmes both in the UK and Europe. Bob is currently researching the expansion capabilities for Confirmation of Payee to provide concepts around the handling the money mules and how to expand the data aspects of confirmation of payee to assist in paying bank be able to detect fraud scams earlier, before funds are actually moved.

Naresh is a member of the Policy and Technical team at the Association of Corporate Treasurers. One of his areas of focus is payments and he regularly meets with the payments team at the Bank of England and has been a member of FCA and pay.uk panels (including one on Confirmation of Payee). Prior to joining the ACT, Naresh was a treasury consultant with PwC and led cash management and payments for the firm. Additionally he brings 20 years of operational treasury experience and has advised a FinTech on their regulatory payment authorisation. |
