As a new chapter is opening for the European Union, with a new European Commission soon in place and a new European Parliament now elected, it is time for some fresh thinking to set up the EU economy for success and competitiveness.
As corporate treasurers, we operate at the intersection of financial & payments systems and real-economy businesses.
The European Association of Corporate Treasurers (EACT) has some concrete ideas for priorities for the next policy agenda for EU financial sector, capital markets & payments, to focus policy makers work in those areas in supporting the real-economy needs.
We look forward to discussing our priorities and recommendations with policymakers across the EU.
