EACT Award 2025 – Deadline for Projects Submission

The European Associations of Corporate Treasurers (EACT) is pleased to remind all members about the deadline: 31 January 2025 for nominations for the 6th EACT Award 2025 (hereinafter referred to as: “the Award 2025”, “the award’).

In 2025 the EACT Award will celebrate achievements which reflect the developments of treasury in 2024 year and will inspire treasury professionals in different area of treasury activity. The Award 2025 will be presented during the EACT Summit, 10-11 April 2025, in Brussels.

As in previous years, development is defined in the sense of a positive evolution which can result from innovation, contribution to sustainable growth, setting of standards for best practices.

The following criteria will be applied by the Award jury, i.e. all EACT Board members:

  • Innovation: Introduce new approaches or improve on traditional methods in a unique way, demonstrating creativity and forward-thinking.
  • Reach: Ensure the project’s potential for broad applicability across various locations, industries, and
    organizational sizes, making it scalable and adaptable.
  • Sustainability/ESG: Contribute positively to society, the environment, and corporate governance, enhancing the project’s role in building a better future.
  • Excellence: Strive for the highest quality and precision, setting a benchmark for professionalism and flawless execution.
  • Impact: Deliver tangible benefits, whether financial or strategic, that create value for the organization and advance the treasury profession.
  • Inspiration: Create a lasting impression

For each of the criteria, the jury will evaluate the success of the project relative to the prevailing business conditions. The project submitted should have been started in production or implemented between 1 January 2024 and 31 December 2024.

Application Process & Requirements & Winner selection

The nominee application document should be in English language and it should consist of:

  • The executive summary should be a high-level executive description about the project (max 50 words).
  • The basic document should be a detailed description of project about project (max 1,500 words). The document should cover the story about the project (contributors, scope, requirements, timeline, nature, outcome - benefit for the organization, resources used and other items).

The application is required to be sent to the respective NTA which in turn nominates the project to the EACT Award Team: Francois Masquelier, Ivan Haco, Aleksandra Filipowicz.

Each EACT Board member (Jury) selects the top 3 candidates from the projects sent by NTAs and assigns a score of 1-3 (the vote is secret and must not be shared except with the EACT Award Committee).

The EACT Award Committee will vote for 3 finalist who will be requested to should prepare a 5-minute video about the project (all types of this initiative are welcomed and valued equally); EACT Award Committee will inform all 3 finalist about the deadline the video should be prepared.

A condition for NTA nominations is the commitment by the nominee to attend the EACT Summit 10- 11 April 2025 in case they are among the finalists the winner 1 st place, and the 2nd and the 3rd.

The EACT will invite and reimburse travel and accommodation expenses of one representative per finalist team. Other members of the finalist teams can attend but will be accounted for in the NTA delegates quota and their travel expenses will not be reimbursed by the EACT. An award trophy will be presented to the winner and celebrated with the treasury community during the EACT Summit 2025.

All three EACT Award finalists will be celebrated in the treasury community.

In addition, the EACT would appreciate the three finalists being prepared to share their project as a business case study in the Journeys to Treasury 2025/26 issue.
