Association Membership

In 2017, AFTE has 3 types of members:

  • Treasurers and finance managers: 1000 representing 800 companies;
  • Correspondent members (bankers, consultants): 400 representing 300 companies;
  • Students

Membership Criteria

You must be:

  • Treasurer or Finance Manager
  • Banker, Consultant, IT Supplier
  • Student in treasury or finance.

Technical committees

These committees are forums concerning treasury management, financial regulations and corporate finance as well as sharing companies' knowledge and expertise.

Representation of corporate treasurers:

AFTE has always been an active partner in the development of Paris as a financial centre. It sits, as full member, in many official Boards. AFTE is a founder member in 1996 of the International Group of Treasury Associations (IGTA), and in 2002 of the European Association of Corporate Treasurers (EACT).

Officers/Governance:

15 members in the board. The board members are elected for 3 years, without limitation. The Chairman in elected each year by the board, without limitation.

Association Journal and/or Publications

Annual Conference:

Conferences are one of the association's major assets. They give the opportunity of forums, either in Paris or in the Provinces. A steering committee is invited to organise the AFTE’s 2 days annual conference in Paris which gathers 1200 delegates and 60 sponsors:
